Son of John and Mary Lunn, of 159, Hill St., Lurgan.
Six sons of John and Mary Lunn would see service during the war. Their father John had previously served for ten years in the army, his sons were Joseph (Royal Irish Fusiliers) who was wounded at Ypres, James (Royal Irish Fusiliers) would suffer wounds during the war, Henry (Royal Irish Fusiliers) who was also wounded during the war, William (Inniskilling Dragoons), Edward (Royal Irish Rifles) wounded four times and taken prisoner and Robert (Royal Irish Rifles) who would lose his right arm.
