Our thanks to Fionntan McDonald for this photo of Flemings in Market Street. John Fleming set up shop in Market Street around 1860 as a Saddler. By 1899 when his son Daniel took over the business they had branched out as Publicans, Grocers and News Agents. By 1910 the business at 28 Market Street that had stood for almost 50 years was gone. The family remained in Lurgan. Daniel's brother John was a solicitor in the town
